Disney's Aladdin - The Musical Autism-Friendly Performance - 07-08-2017
Disney in association with Amaze will present an autism-friendly performance of Aladdin – the Musical at Her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne on Saturday August 12th, 2017 at 1.30pm.
 
This specially adapted performance will be suitable for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, with trained staff on hand and dedicated quiet and activity areas should anyone need to leave their seats.
 
Junior Blind Tennis Program for 2017 - 07-08-2017
Blind Sports and Recreation Victoria (BSRV), in partnership with Tennis Victoria are proud to announce the New Junior Blind Tennis program for 2017.  After the success of the pilot in Term 1 all children aged 5 to 15, who are blind or vision impaired, are invited to join us on alternate Fridays during terms 3 and 4 from 5.30pm until 6.30pm.  Qualified, professional coaches and all equipment will be supplied.  Free parking is provided for parents of participants.
 
Time:  5.30pm until 6.30pm 
Pathways for Carers Weekend Walks - Maroondah Saturday - 07-08-2017
The Pathway for Carers project offers carers of people with a disability or mental health issue, an opportunity to share walks in Maroondah and Yarra Ranges with other carers and to learn more about news, services, and supports available to carers. All walks are for approximately 1 hour and are followed by free morning tea. 

The Guest Speaker for this weeks walk will be Michelle Veale, Disability Consultant, Uniting Care lifeAssist

Pathway for Carers Boroondara - 07-08-2017
Join us for our new walk in the City of Boroondara!  The Pathways for Carers project offers carers of people with a disability or mental illness an opportunity to share walks together and to learn more about news, services and supports available to carers.  We will be joined on the walk by representatives from local organisations.  Stay after the walk for a coffee at the Recreation Centre Café!

Time:     Walk commences at 10.00am
Date:     Thursday 17th of August (every third Thursday of the month)
